Day 1Overnight Depart from home town on overnight flight to Egypt. (Airfare on own - Best Single Travel will be glad to assist)
Day 2Cairo(May 21) - Cairo, Egypt: Arrive at Cairo Airport where you will be met by the group's assistant & transfered to our Hotel -overnight in Cairo.
Day 3Cairo(May 22) - Cairo: After breakfast get ready for a full day of amazing highlights.

First we drive to Memphis where we will see the limestone Colossus of Ramses II and the giant Alabaster Sphinx. Then we continue to Sakkara where the Step Pyramid heralded the start of the pyramid age. From here prepare yourself for a breathtaking experience as we marvel at one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx, which casts its enigmatic gaze across the sands of the desert.
Day 4Aswan(May 23) - Cairo to Aswan: This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum which has over 120,000 items and the greatest collection of Egyptian antiquities.

The Citadel, a monument to medieval warfare, houses a number of museums, ancient mosques and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali (used as the royal mosque). Then it is time for a quick visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazar. The souk dates back to 1382 and is known for selling good-quality clothing, cloth, spices, souvenirs, and traditional jewelry and perfumes at reasonable prices.

Afternoon transfer to station for Aswan overnight train.

Day 5Nile Cruise(May 24) - Aswan to Nile Cruise: Early morning excursion to Abu Simbel to visit
The Temple of Ramses II & his wife Nefertari.
Abu Simbel also represents the triumph of UNESCO's Campaign to salvage the temples which would have been lost beneath the Nile

Upon return we check into the cruise then visit High Dam & the Unfinished Obelisk
Afternoon we take a Felucca Ride to Botanical Gardens and Outer View of Agha Khan
Day 6Nile Cruise(May 25) - Nile Cruise: Today we sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple which was built on a high dune overlooking the Nile and is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the Falcon God Horus. Then to Edfu to visit the temple, the best-preserved major temple in Egypt, dedicated to the god Horus. Lunch on board during sailing to Esna.

After the cruise crosses Esna lock we sail to one of the most important destinations in Egyptian history, Luxor, where you will spend your last 2 nights on board the ship surrounded by the remains of the greatest civilization ever known.
Day 7Nile Cruise(May 26) - Nile Cruise: After breakfast we cross to the west bank of Luxor to discover the largest open museum in the world. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the kings, which was used for over 1000 years as a great tomb for the Kings of the New Kingdom (1500-1070 B.C)
We will also visit the famous temple at El Deir El Bahary for the only Pharaonic female ruler, the Queen Hatshepsut.

On our way back we stop at the Colossi of Memnon, named by Greeks after the grandson of Eos, goddess of dawn and a mortuary temple in Thebes guarded by two gigantic statuses of Amenhotep III
Day 8Hurghada(May 27) - Nile Cruise to Hurghada: Today starts with the East Bank of Luxor including Karnak & Luxor Temples. On entering the Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew. The deeper you go, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years.

The Luxor Temple was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a 2 kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor Temple has survived Nile floods, foreign invasion and thousands of years exposed to the elements.

After our morning tour we drive to Hurghada and have the evening free to explore the nightlife. Hurghada Marina Boulevard has over 80 shops, 15 restaurants and 7 bars just waiting for us.
Day 9Hurghada(May 28) - Hurghada: Hurghada, was once a simple fishing village. But now, with its crystal clear water, untouched reefs and multitude ship wrecks, it is one of the best Egyptian tourist destinations The small town center with its bazaars, mosques and lively atmosphere reflects typical Egyptian life. Further inland lie the Desert Mountains, ideal for desert tours.

Tonight we will enjoy a Bedoin Dinner in the heart of the desert in a bedoin tent with candle light and music. Includes a camel ride.
Day 10Cairo(May 29) - Hurghada to Alexandria to Cairo: After breakfast transfer to Hurghada airport for flight to Cairo. Upon arrival we transfer directly to Alexandria. Highlights of the day will be the Montazah Summer Palace, 1892, was the summer home of the Egyptian Royal family; The fort and Citadel of Qaitbay, 1480, believed to rest on the site and built from the stones of the Pharos lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Next is a visit to the Bombay's Pillar which was built in 297 AD for the Roman Emperor Diocletian. The Pillar itself is 29 feet in circumference.The day ends with a visit to the Catacomb of Komel-Shokafa. These tombs were tunneled into the bedrock in the age of the Antonine emperors (2nd century A.D.). These tombs represent the last existing major construction for the sake of the old Egyptian religion.. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 11Cairo(May 30) - Cairo: A day at leisure for last minute sightseeing or to get those final souvenirs.

Let's make our final night fantastic with the Light and Sound show at the Pyrimds.
Day 12Return Home(May 31) - Cairo to Home: Today we must say goodbye to Egypt and all our new single friends. Transfer to airport and flight home.
